Farmhouse L’Interrato

Torrita di Siena (SI)

This is the restoration of a rural building carried out from 1998 to 2001, located in the Municipality of Torrita di Siena (Siena).
The building had been abandoned for a long time and has been brought back to its origins to create two residences, a main house and a
second one for the keeper.

The stables have been used for the hall of the main unit while the remaining part has been used as storage space for agricultural machinery and a cellar. Other existing appurtenances are located close by; they have been well organised, along with another completely underground cellar. All this has been carried out in respect of its history by using recycled materials or similar ones, so as to bring to light once more this splendid farm house, which is characteristic of our Tuscany.
